We’re very excited to introduce Blackham Court Farmhouse to Highfields Estate – a beautiful country farmhouse made for bringing family and friends together.
Full of character, with plenty of space both inside and out, the farmhouse is a wonderful place for family holidays, weekends with friends, celebrations or simply escaping to the Sussex countryside for a few days.
A home with plenty of character
Dating back to the 17th century, Blackham Court Farmhouse is Grade II listed and has all the charm you’d hope to find in an old country home. Original beams, stone walls and oak doors sit alongside comfortable, welcoming interiors that make it very easy to settle in and feel at home.
There’s lots of room for everyone to spread out, as well as plenty of spaces to come together – whether that’s around the table for a long family meal, relaxing in the living room or enjoying a drink together at the farmhouse bar.
And when the weather is on your side, there’s even more to enjoy outside.
Long days, warm evenings and plenty of space
The farmhouse has its own private hot tub overlooking the surrounding countryside, as well as gardens and terraces where you can sit back, relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Guests can also make use of the heated outdoor swimming pool, open seasonally from March to October. It’s already one of our favourite parts of a stay at Blackham Court – particularly for families and those long summer days when nobody is quite ready to go inside.
Bring everyone along
One of the things we love most about Blackham Court Farmhouse is just how well it works for getting everyone together.
And if you’re planning something a little bigger, the farmhouse can be booked alongside other accommodation at Highfields Estate, giving extended family and friends the opportunity to stay nearby while still having their own space.
Your countryside escape
There’s plenty to discover beyond the estate too. Country walks, welcoming pubs, pretty villages and some fantastic days out are all within easy reach, along with Tunbridge Wells and the beautiful Ashdown Forest.
Or, of course, you can simply stay put.
Sometimes the best weekends are the ones spent around the table, by the pool or in the hot tub, with nowhere else you need to be.
We’re delighted to have Blackham Court Farmhouse as part of Highfields Estate and can’t wait to welcome our first guests.
