Discover the surrounding countryside

One of the highlights of staying at Lodgefield Farmhouse is its location. Guests can enjoy everything from country walks and traditional pubs to historic houses, gardens, villages and days out across Sussex.

The estate is also close to Ashdown Forest and the famous Winnie-the-Pooh Country, where the landscape inspired A. A. Milne’s Hundred Acre Wood. Visitors can explore the forest, discover locations associated with the stories and, of course, visit the famous Poohsticks Bridge.
