Highfields Park is a family run, working country estate with stunning views over the beautiful English countryside on the East Sussex and Kent border.
In the heart of Winnie-the-Pooh country, not far from the cobbled streets of Tunbridge Wells, you’ll find castles, gardens, ancient moats and enchanting forests. This wild and sparsely settled region, frozen in time, is a sanctuary where imagination can thrive.
With fresh cut flowers from our walled garden, breakfast and bbq packs from a local butcher, long walks round our acres of ancient woodland, and meals at the Bottlehouse Inn supplied with our own beef – you really can cross the threshold and leave the world behind.
OUR HERD
The Chameran Charolais are an award winning herd of cattle numbering over 100, founded in 2013 to roam amongst the beautiful woodlands and magnificent oak trees at the Highfield Estate. We place a high priority on the wellbeing of our cattle, our cows are well fed and well treated and thrive on our land.
The Charolais are proud tall beasts, creamy white in colour with unmistakeable pink noses. Though muscular and strong they are friendly and docile in nature. Originating from France and originally bred to suit the French cuisine, Charolais beef is well known for its flavour and lean and tender texture.
At Highfields we are pleased to be working with the Bottle House Inn to provide premium quality beef born and raised at Highfields, from farm to fork in under 8 miles.
